Staff Selection Commission has declared the final result of Junior Translators in (CSOLS) Examination 2012 in various departments under the department of  Official Language on 18/11/2012

Total number of candidates qualified in Paper -1 is 832 was declared on 01/01/2013, subsequebtly based on the marks obtained in Paper-2 ,total number of candidates qualified for interview is 478.

The basic purpose of staff selection commission is to recruit staff for various posts that are issued from time to time in various ministries and departments of government of India. The commission is connected to the office of the Department of Personnel and Training that comprises of a chairman, 2 members and secretary. The main target of the SSC is to recruit eligible candidates into group B or group C categories into different departments of government of India. Staff selection commission is also recruiting departmental candidate by conducting departmental examinations. Head Quarter of SSC is in New Delhi. At present , there are 7 regional offices at Mumbai, Kolkata, New Delhi, Allahabad, Bangalore, Chennai , Guwahati and  2 Sub-regional offices at Raipur and Chandigarh. Examination is conducted in two way i.e. open examination and departmental examination.
