Master of Business Administration is a post graduate degree which is essential for making career in management.MBA programme is divided basically in three types , regular , part time and distance learning mode.MBA programs provides training in basic business principle including finance, economics, strategic planning, systems, resource management etc.

Basic Types of MBA Programs:
1-Full time MBA Programme – This is 2 year programme (18 months).
2-Part time MBA Programme – In this programme , normally classes are held weekly after normal working hours. Duration of this part time MBA is 3 years or more.
3-Distance Learning Programme- In this programme, no classes are held , off campus programme,This is carried out in different ways correspondence courses like email , non interactive broadcast video , pre-recorded video , videoconferencing , online/offline computer courses.
4-Executive MBA- This program has been incorporated to meet the educational needs of managers and executives, allowing students to earn an MBA or another business-related graduate degree in two years or less while working full-time. Mostly working employee after 5 years are elegible for this type of MBA programme.
5- Dual MBA Programme – When MBA combines with another degree programme it is called dual MBA. In this programme , student save time on education like when student pursue MBA with B.E , it is completed in 5 years while if MBA and B.E. was done separately then it will take 6 years.
Admission in MBA:
For getting admission in MBA , candidate should have bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline , in case if candidate is in final year of graduation , he can apply form and getting admission in MBA but candidate should submit marksheet and certificate within a fixed interval of time. For getting admission in MBA , candidate should qualify entrance test of CAT , MAT , XLRI etc.
After completion of MBA , candidate make his carrier in banking sector, management consulting, private industry, entrepreneurship, sales ,HR Manager , Project manager, testing manager etc.MBA graduates are required in most of the industries in various departments like sales, marketing, human resource management, supply chain etc.
