BPSC(Bihar Public Service Commission)Interview Schedule for 53rd to 55th Common Combined Compettitive Examination,bpsc.bih.nic.in

BPSC Bihar Public Service Commission has announced interview programme for 53rd to 55th Common Combined Compettitive Examination . Result  for BPSC  Common Combined Compettitive exam has already been published on BPSC  website bpsc.bih.nic.in. Total 2610 No. candidates were selected in this exam , out of these , 1248 No. General Category candidates , 429 No. Schedule Caste candidates,  23 No. Schedule Tribes , 55 No. handicaped candidates and rest Other Backward(OBC) Candidates were passed out on the basis of written test held on May 2012 to 14 June 2012.

total number of  candidates  qualified for interview process = 2610 .

Introduction about Bihar Public Service Commission(BPSC):

BPSC RESULT

The Bihar Public Service Commission(BPSC) came into existence from 1st April 1949 after its separation from the Commission for the States of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh. It is a Constitutional Body under Article 315 of the Constitution of India.

Initially, Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has started work regarding recruitments etc. for the State of Bihar along with its headquarters at Ranchi, later on State Government has planned to transfer the headquarters of the Commission from Ranchi to Patna and finally on 1st March 1951,it was shifted to Patna city.

Main Function of BPSC:

Main function of BPSC is conducting recruitment for various compettitive examination through written test , main test and interview on the behalf of state goverment department. There are two methods of recruitment which is conducted by BPSC  is given below :

1-Direct Recruitment:In direct method of recruitment , selection for various compettitive examinations are done on the basis of either pelim test+main exam test+interview or written test+interview or by direct interview.

2-Promotion: According to the rules and regulation act of  State GovernmentDepartment , promotion policy is decided and is awarded  to departmental employess whenever required.
